Junior School Playground

A playground space has existed for many years at the top of Grandview Road. Play equipment originally was simply swings and monkey bars.  A centrepiece of the playground is the fountain in honour of Miss Jean Barnfather, Head of Junior School 1945 – 1982. The playground has undergone many refurbishments over the years with design, use of materials, style of equipment and safety issues. A new playground opened in 2020.
